So a friend of mine was showing off a browser plug-in called crossrider that allows your facebook stream to show within google+. Lifehacker was recommending it and now is retracting that recommendation based on a large number of security holes within the code.
Here’s the lesson for today: Its easy to get sucked into the early adopter trap. I’m guilty of it way too often. But its often a good idea to let things ‘flesh out’ a bit before jumping on the train so to speak. I’m guessing this won’t be the last google+ ‘plug-in’ that has these sort of issues.

If us “early adapters” didn’t blindly jump at the newest pieces of software, the rest of you would never realize it was broken. Celebrate the prematures! Without us, nothing get fixed!
Well you definitely get a prize for being first in the comments! And there’s nothing broke here that I know of.
Don’t worry, I’m very good at finding problems. Mainly because I create most of them.
wow, you have time to write a blog?
Not as much as I’d like to have, but I’m working on it.
